Picnic, Cars, and Sleepy

Last Saturday we went on a picnic with my best bud Jessie and her 3 girls. They are family too (Jessie and I married cousins) so the kids are like 2nd or 3rd cousins or something like that. Well anyway we took them down for a picnic at the park and then 2pm we went over to the kids rides and festivities for the 4th of July weekend.

The picnic was a big success! We munched on some yummy wraps Jessie had made and the kids ate peanut butter sandwiches. I brought watermelon, white cheddar Cheetos, and lemonade. Lukas ate all of these happily except for the watermelon.

Jessie has 3 girls. Justice who is 12, Kassidy who is 10, and Haidyn who is 2. Haidyn and Lukas are two days apart. Those two play wonderfully together for 2 year olds. They were all over the jungle gym and had a lot of fun. After we were done at the park we went over to the festivities. Lukas couldn't go on any of the bouncy rides, because he didn't want to take his shoes off. (He has a fetish about feet and shoes...he decides when they come off.) So he didn't really enjoy any rides, however he did get to drive a car! A little go cart! Him and Haidyn both really enjoyed it!

It was a very fun day!
