With all the stuff Lukas has been through the month of July in the year 2010 it just wasn't his month. It was still a fun month, but he was sick with something or bumping his face on stuff. Of course I do know too that a.) kids get sick, and b.) kids and especially boys get lots of bumps, scrapes, and bruises. Let's recap...shall we.
First week of July Lukas comes down with Hand, Foot, and Mouth. He sleeps OK, but he didn't eat much because he had sores in his throat. We dealt with that just fine and dandy.
Second week of July we find out Lukas had pink eye. Pink eye looks like nasty eye puss. Yucky! Plus we had to hold him down at first to give him his eye drops.
Third week of July Lukas bangs his face on the steps at our friends. Not cool! Poor kid! I felt so bad for him. Bad sandals...BAD!
Fourth week of July Lukas almost knocked himself out at daycare while racing a dump truck and smacked the side of his head into the wall! Whoa...don't even know what to say. He only got a small bruise out of it.
Either my child is accident prone or it definitely isn't his month!
