The Runny Nose That Wouldn't Go Away

There once was a small gentleman who had the most runny nose.  He would run in fear when his Mom would break out the Kleenex or cry "Noooo" at the very sight of saline.  His small little nose had almost had it. 
His Mom would try and try to help his runny nose go away.  She took him to the doctor and to her surprise she found out he had double ear infection!  Well she purchased the medicine he needed to help clear the runny nose and his pain for the ear infection clear up.  Once the medicine was done this small gentleman's nose was still runny!  So his Mom took him back to the doctor.  His ears looked good, but he still had a lot of congestion.  The very wise doctor told the Mom to try saline drops for the nose and a humidifier to help loosen up things and make the runny nose go away. 
So the Mom very diligently did as she was told.  She ran the humidifier every night, and did the saline once a day, but still this poor little gentleman's nose ran.  Again, the Mom called the doctor "what can I do to help him recover from this runny nose?"  The doctor said "lets try Zyrtec!"  So the Mom went and got Zyrtec and so far none of it's helping.  Frustration has currently set in for both the small gentleman and the Mom.

Yep you guess it...that is Lukas and me.  I feel bad for him and want his runny nose to go away, but I am not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.  The ear infection is gone, the humidifier, saline, and Zyrtec haven't helped at all.  The doctor wants to see him Thursday if symptoms haven't improved.  Well Thursday is tomorrow...and as far as I can see we will be going back to the doctor.
