Mama I Phomas!
Lukas has really started loving Thomas the tank engine. When we get home he gets out his train and asks if he can watch Thomas. He calls him "Phomas" the "P" is the "T". He pretends he is Thomas all the time too. He will run around the house saying "choo choo" and then circle around the table and run through the kitchen into the living room. He will even pretend he needs coal sometimes. He screams happily "Mama, I Phomas!"
I love that he uses his imagination and I also love that he enjoys trains so much. However, we only have one Thomas show DVR'd and the same show is getting old. I did a search on my TV for the next Thomas and I couldn't believe that it's barely on. It's not a regular show in our area or on any of our satellite channels. We did find it on Sprout and our local PBS station, but it's on every few weeks. For something so popular I am surprised it's never on.
We may get him a little train track to start up a Thomas collection this Christmas. That way we can build on each birthday and Christmas to his train set. Maybe one day he would have the whole island of Sodor. ♥
