Lukas watches Chris and I fill the dogs dishes with food and water all the time. I always ask the dogs if they are thirsty and they follow me to the water dish while I pour the water in it. It's a daily routine.
Well this weekend I was doing some baking for my niece's birthday party and my husband was looking at his phone in the kitchen. While I was up at the counter Lukas was behind me pushing the chair up to the sink and asking Molly and Daisy if they were thirsty. He plays in the water at the sink from time to time, but I don't usually let him play for too long. He climbed up and was asking the dogs "Molly, Daisy, you tirsty?" He would tell them "Ok, here you go." When I turned around to see what he was using to fill with water he had the cup from his potty chair. My husband and I burst out laughing! He took apart his potty chair and filled it with water to give to the dogs. (He doesn't use the potty chair yet, so it was clean...I promise!)
I let him finish what he was doing since he was being so thoughtful to the dogs. After he was done he said he was thirsty and then knelt down and tried to drink from the dog's water dish. I told him not to do this, but I did thank him for filling it!
