We have adopted a new family pet! His name is Drake and he is a bearded dragon! We were pretty lucky when getting everything to set his cage up. Chris's cousin's girlfriend Leslie had a 40 gallon tank that she said we could have. What a blessing...thanks Leslie! :) With the tank came all the stuff our lizard could climb on and eat out of. Sunday night my Mom called and asked if we wanted the brother to the lizard they have. They have the female her name is Lizzy and she is my little brothers little sweetheart! I told her we didn't have the tank all set up so we then went out and got all the stuff we needed to set the tank up. The thermometers, sand, bulbs for the lamps, and food. We set everything up last night and went and picked up our newest family member. Lukas keeps calling him Daisy or puppy, but he will learn in time that his name is Drake. I guess when my brother brought him to my Mom's he was pretty lethargic. The last few days he has started to come to life. He was even climbing around and ate a food pellet on his own last night! He is brown with pretty orange and brown markings. He blends in very well to his little environment we set up. We are excited to have our newest little family member! Welcome to our little family Drake!
