This week has been something. Lukas is teething again. He turned 3 May 16th and he is just now getting the last of his 3 year old molars. He was a late teether, but darn it...poor kid has problems cutting teeth. Especially when his gums are so hard already. He cut his first tooth at 11 months old. Well he is finally cutting the last two teeth! Yay! After these 2 teeth are in he should be done teething for a little bit...well until they start to fall out when he gets older.
Bandaids are magical. They are to a child anyway. Yesterday while we were taking a walk Lukas was running and of course he fell. He does this sometimes when he is just having fun and not paying attention to the sidewalk. Well he tripped over a piece of sidewalk that was up from the other one and diggered pretty hard. He held my hand and walked the rest of the way home crying. It was bleeding and he was very concerned. "Mama my leg hurts I have owie" he would say over and over. I told him when we get home we will clean it up and up a bandaid on it. Well sure enough when we got home we got it cleaned up and put a bandaid on it. He instantly felt better and wanted a freezy. Bandaids are magical I tell you! I should do a commercial...I bet I could make some extra money claiming they are a god send and magical!
Last but not least...the picture above is a picture of a crimson maple tree. We have many of them in our neighborhood. Lukas loves these trees. He calls them chocolate trees and then he will always tell me they are his favorite. I love how he sees the world. It's so fresh and neat to view the world through his eyes.
