Knock Knock Jokes

Lukas has started trying to tell knock knock Jokes.  He has told them to my husband and he has told them to me.  He doesn't understand that at the end of a knock knock joke that you get a punchline.  He just simply repeats what he said first.  The funniest thing about these jokes are when he is thinking what is knocking.  He will say "ummmm" and squish his face together and think really hard.  Sometimes it's a simple fruit he comes up with, but he has been getting creative lately!  Here is how our last knock knock joke went.

Lukas: (making a knocking motion with his fist) Knock Knock Mommy!
Me: Who's there?
Lukas:  Chocolate Lemonade
Me: Yuck...chocolate lemonade?  Gross!
Lukas:  (Laughing) I do that Mama!
Me:  Yep you did...that's a interesting combo.
Lukas:  (Still is laughing and smiling at me!)

That was the funniest knock knock joke he told me, but we made many of them.  They usually had to do with a banana, orange, or some other kind of fruit.  Good times!
