Brrr...chilly!

With winter comes cold, and with cold comes extra stuff to bundle Lukas up in. He hates his car seat as it is, let alone all the winter stuff to get him into. He hates his hat, but most of all he hates his mittens. He loves his hands for many things. Chewing on, playing with, grabbing stuff, and trying to yank his hat off. Well when mittens come into the game, then he has no hands to use. This makes him really mad. How are you supposed to play with a toy or yank your shoe off if you can't grab anything with those darn mittens on. He will throw a fit, but once we get to where ever we are going and we take those mittens off he is happy Lukas again. When it's not super chilly out, we let him have his hands and leave his mittens off. After all he is covered anyway.
