Black Friday happiness and decorating for Christmas
Friday morning Lukas and I got up (normal time, which is 6:30-7:00am for a weekend) and got ready for the day. We ate our breakfast and then went black Friday shopping with Grandma Kim. My little boy loves to shop. He gets really excited just sitting in the cart or being walked around the store. He makes all kinds of cute noises, and pumps his legs all over. When he does that with his legs we call it "happy feet" and let me tell you he has happy feet all the time. He was so good the whole day shopping. He even helped picked some of this own gifts out, of course he doesn't know that they are not his anyway. We got home and his great mood stayed with him all day. When my husband got home from hunting we all decorated the tree. This took me a lot longer than it usually does, mostly because with Lukas you take more breaks to play and talk. He loves to stare at the tree and he doesn't know what to think of some of the singing stuffed animals I have. He just stares at them...no smile...no nothing. He will get used to them. Next year it will probably be more of a challenge to decorate. Right now he can't run off with stuff or move stuff on me yet. I got his 'baby's first Christmas' ornament and put his picture in it. This will be a fun Christmas!
