Lukas will be 3 next month. I cannot believe time has went that fast! Everyday he is learning and growing and becoming his own person. I just love watching the way he sees the world and how his silly little self interprets things.
One thing that cracks me up are the words he replaces for things. Here are some examples:
Squishy = Slushie
Mud Cuddles = Mud Puddles
Pickups = Hiccups
There are more...but those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. He is also a person who loves to shorten names. He gives our animals and kids at daycare nicknames. Here are some examples:
Molly = Mol
Daisy = Daze
Megan = Maggie (a girl a daycare...and soon to be his little sisters name!)
Haley = Hale (our daycare lady's daughter)
Daddy = Dad
He tried to call me Mom and I told him I was still Mommy. :) Not ready for him to give up calling me Mommy! He changes so fast and when I look back I feel like time really got away from me and he is getting too big. I guess every parent probably feels that with their children. Your time just keeps getting faster and faster, but when you are young it feels like everything takes forever!
