1st...Lukas has been sick lately. It's been going around all over. The first sickness he had was the stomach flu. I am not a fan of this! I hated him being sick like that. Which made him have severe diarrhea and he learned to hold his poop in because it hurt to go. 3 weeks later we had to start giving him laxatives and it is getting better. Thank goodness. He has a cold now that has been hanging on for 2 weeks. He coughs and had a running nose, but no ear infection yet. I took him to the chiropractor and she helped correct his neck and back, so hopefully that is what is helping. I also tried a new thing for his cough. I have never heard of it until I did a search to try to find a way to get him some sleep at night. I put Baby Vick's on his feet and put socks on them. He has been sleeping great since I did this. I cannot even believe it works...or even how it works. It works, so I am not questioning it too much. My husband also has the same cold Lukas has for about the same amount of time, and now they gave it to me. So we all have it. We can't wait for this weather to clear up and get nicer! Maybe everyone will start to feel better and people will stop passing colds around!
2nd...We have had some extra appointments for the baby on the way. Everything so far has turned out fine, but our doctor had some concerns. We found out Lukas is going to have a baby sister come July! He has been fun to talk to about the baby coming! He doesn't always understand what we are talking about, but you can tell he is getting better and more aware of when we talk about the baby. I cannot wait for his little sister to be here! :)
3rd...Work has been nuts. What I usually get done in a year for projects I am trying to squeeze into two quarters. I will be off the third quarter and back the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter probably won't amount to a lot of good quality work. I remember when I came back from having Lukas...my brain didn't retain any work information. It only retained information and stuff to do with home and Lukas. Hopefully it will be better, but I am not holding my breath.
Today is March 9th...it's snowing again, and I am really sick of this weather. I am dreaming of spring flowers, and being outside. Hurry up winter and get your snowy, cold, and messy self out of here!
